Die Arbeit hat die Operationalisierung des Konzeptes der unscharfen Mengen für Entscheidungsprobleme bei mehrfacher Zielsetzung zum Inhalt. Erstmals wird ein pragmatisches Verfahren zur Konstruktion einer Zugehörigkeitsfunktion entwickelt, wobei diese sowohl axiomatisch abgesichert ist als auch die subjektiven Einschätzungen eines Entscheidungsträgers berücksichtigt. Die vielfachen Einsatzmöglichkeiten des kompletten Bewertungsmodells werden an einem Beispiel aus der Wertpapieranalyse aufgezeigt. Hier stellt sich etwa die Frage, wie vorhandene Daten, insbesondere betriebswirtschaftliche Kennzahlen (z.B. Dividendenrendite und Kurs-Gewinn-Verhältnis), zu einer rationalen Gesamtbeurteilung von Anlagealternativen führen können.
