Schäfer entwickelt aus der empirischen Untersuchung religiöser Bewegungen in einem Counter-Insurgency-Krieg eine methodisch operationalisierte Theorie der Identität, die unmittelbar anschlussfähig ist an die bei Springer erschienene praxeologische Epistemologie und Methodologie der HabitusAnalysis.
