Und wie geht man damit um, wenn der Leichnam fehlt, weil der Kaiser fern seines Reiches in Kleinasien auf dem Kreuzzug verstirbt? Zusammen ergeben sich damit neue Perspektiven auf ein erforschtes, aber längst nicht erschöpfend verstandenes, allgegenwärtiges Phänomen des menschlichen Lebens: Unser Sterben.
