«Beeinflußt koedukativer Unterricht die Interessen der Mädchen an Physik» war die Fragestellung, die mit Hilfe einer empirischen Untersuchung beantwortet werden sollte. Dazu wurden knapp 700 Schülerinnen und Schüler der 10. Klasse in Süddeutschland befragt. Es zeigte sich, daß der Einfluß des koedukativen Unterrichts auf das Interesse der Mädchen am Physikunterricht weit geringer ist, als zunächst vermutet wurde. Keinen Einfluß haben die Unterrichtsform und die Schule auf das Interesse der Mädchen an Physik im privaten (Hobby-) Bereich.
