Der Band ist Peter Schifko gewidmet, der seit seiner Berufung als Ordentlicher Universitätsprofessor für Romanische Sprachen an die Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien im Jahr 1981 für eine fruchtbare Synthese von linguistischer Forschung und davon geprägter fachsprachlicher Lehre eingetreten ist und nun im Jahr 1998 seinen 60. Geburtstag feiert.
