In den anschließenden drei Hauptteilen erfolgt die Rekonstruktion der Schriften von Habermas, Foucault und Luhmann, wobei die einzelnen Teile wechselseitig aufeinander verweisen. Insbesondere im Schlußteil finden sich resümierende Betrachtungen, die vergleichend auf frühere Überlegungen Bezug nehmen. Zusätzliche Hinweise und Übersichten über die Vorgehensweise erleichtern die Lektüre.
