Angesichts der Weiterentwicklung der Europ ischen Union, namentlich in Richtung einer vollwertigen europ ischen Verfassung und im Hinblick auf die Erweiterung, werden die Kernfragen der EU-Mitgliedschaft und der damit bestehenden ""Doppelverfassung"" aus Sicht des sterreichischen Verfassungsrechts untersucht. Dazu z hlen die verfassungsrechtlichen Grundlagen der EU-Mitgliedschaft, insbesondere die Gesamt nderungsproblematik, weiters das Verh ltnis zwischen Verfassungsrecht und EU-Recht anhand von Vorrang und Normenkontrolle sowie schlie lich die Verfassungsbindung sterreichischer ""Mitwirkungsakte"" (Vertretung im Rat usw). Die Arbeit zielt auf eine systematische Gesamtdarstellung des Themas, die ber die bisher im Schrifttum behandelten Einzelthemen hinausgeht. Dadurch werden auch neue Erkenntnisse und Diskussionspunkte aufgezeigt, z.B. in der Gesamt nderungsproblematik oder f r die Zust ndigkeiten des Verfassungsgerichtshofs.
