Dieser Band ist der apokryphen beziehungsweise parabiblischen Literatur Äthiopiens gewidmet. Er enthält drei Editionen und zwei Studien. Ediert wird die äthiopische Version der Historia de Melchisedech, die äthiopische Version der Revelatio Stephani und ein äthiopisches Apokryphon, das von der Bindung Isaaks handelt. Alle diese Texte können in der aksumitischen Periode der äthiopischen Literaturgeschichte entstanden und aus dem Griechischen übersetzt sein. Sie alle waren bisher unediert. Ergänzt werden diese Editionen durch eine Studie zur äthiopischen Version der Petrusapokalypse, die vor allem ihrem bisher wenig beachteten pseudoklementinischen Ãœberlieferungskontext gewidmet ist, und eine Untersuchung zur AndÇmta-Tradition zum ersten Henochbuch.
