Durch sie vollzieht er Reinigung, Weihe und Inauguration des himmlischen Zeltes wie auch der Glaubenden. Der kultische Dienst des himmlischen Hohepriesters ereignet sich auf Erden am Kreuz und zugleich in pneumatischer Sphäre an Gottes eigenem Heiligtum.
