Ihre Bedeutung fï¿½r das Verstï¿½ndnis des theologischen Wissenshorizonts und Wissensbestands von Laien um 1200 kann nicht hoch genug eingeschï¿½tzt werden. Die Edition bietet Text, kritischen Apparat und Verstï¿½ndnishilfen, vollstï¿½ndige Nachweise der zugrundeliegenden Bibelstellen und Liturgika, Glossar und Verzeichnisse, in der Einleitung die Darstellung der ï¿½berlieferung und Streuï¿½berlieferung, eine Untersuchung des Entstehungskontexts und eine Typologie der Predigtformen.
