Die in dem vorliegenden Band versammelten Aussagen hochrangiger MilitÃ¤rs stellen einen Quellenkorpus dar, der analog zu den in westlicher Internierung angefertigten Aufzeichnungen nicht frei von WidersprÃ¼chen oder Ungenauigkeiten ist. Auch hier findet sich das vorsÃ¤tzliche Verschleiern von belastenden Sachverhalten. Allerdings sind sie frei vom Rechtfertigungsdiskurs der westdeutschen NachkriegsÃ¶ffentlichkeit, weil die Protagonisten von ihm ausgeschlossen waren.
