Der vorliegende Band enthält zwei lateinische Regeln für Frauenklöster: die Regula Donati, die auf der Basis älterer Klosterregeln (nämlich des Benedikt von Nursia, Caesarius von Arles und Columban), eine komplexe neue Regel formuliert, sowie den als ""Fragment einer Nonnenregel"" (CPPM II 3637) bekannten Text, der zwei voneinander unabhängige, irrtümlich unter Columbans Namen zusammengestellte Passagen umfasst.
