Schneede. The Overpainted Photographs, drawn mostly from the artistâ€™s personal snapshots, depict landscapes, cityscapes, family moments and travels. Using oil paint or lacquer, Richter employs techniques such as pressing photos onto paint, flicking droplets and applying paint with squeegees or spatulas.
