| book description |

Andy Warhol is one of the most influential artists of the twentieth century. The Hall Foundation holds around 140 works by Andy Warhol in their expansive collection. It covers all eras of Warhol's career, from the early 1960s up to the year before his death in 1987. From images of Campbells soup cans, Brillo boxes, to large screen prints of flowers and New York society and celebrity. Covering a variety of media; screen printing, photography and drawings, this is the first time the collection will have been seen in the UK. Complete with an introductory essay by Sir Norman Rosenthal, there is also an interview between Andy Hall of the Hall Foundation, and Alexander Sturgis, Director of the Ashmolean Museum.
