| book description |

This book is a set of Black line masters to encourage students to access information from tables and charts. It is set in a fictional Welsh film festival and involves data from films. Then there is a section on travel in Wales and finally some work using 70's supergroup Abba and tv programmes. Students find accessing information in tables incredibly challenging and this is often because they simply have had limited experience in this task. This work proved popular in trials and will be of interest to teachers of lower ability students, particular skills for life/basic skills students. There is a disc of worksheets for the teacher to use and free smarttech, smartboard activities. Colleges with more than one campus will need multiple copies of this title.
