The Fourth Doctor Adventures - 6.1 the Beast of Kravenos

By (composer) Jamie Robertson, Cover design or artwork by Anthony Lamb

| book description |

This range of two - part audio dramas stars Tom Baker reprising his most popular role as the Fourth Doctor (from 1974 -1981) with a number of his original TV companions. This fifth series reunites the Doctor with Romana (Lalla Ward), a fellow Time Lord for adventures across Time and Space! The Doctor and Romana return to Victorian London for a reunion with Jago & Litefoot. While K9 becomes the latest star attraction of the New Regency Theatre, the travellers are embroiled in robberies committed by a mysterious thief known only as 'The Knave'. This is the sixth series in a Big Finish range which is hugely popular with fans young and old of the classic TV series Doctor Who. The pairing of the Doctor and companion Romana harks back to the most-watched period of Doctor Who, one that to a generation is the most loved and iconic and which broke the records for viewers of the show. Tom Baker's portrayal of the Fourth Doctor Who still tops popularity polls today. He was a special guest in 2013's 50th anniversary story Doctor Who -The Day of the Doctor. Guest Christopher Benjamin is a hugely familiar face from British television, covering everything from The Avengers in the 1960s through to Yes, Prime Minister, and a variety of regarded Doctor Who appearances. Jago & Litefoot were first encountered in fan favourite Doctor Who story The Talons of Weng-Chiang. Their spin-off audio series for Big Finish has run for twelve volumes so far. CAST: Tom Baker (The Doctor), Lalla Ward (Romana), John Leeson (K9), Christopher Benjamin (Henry Gordon Jago), Trevor Baxter (Professor George Litefoot), Conrad Asquith (Inspector Quick), Ed Stoppard (Sir Nicholas Asquin).
