| book description |
Sarah and Steven Cooper were the perfect happily married couple. Then one day Sarah’s life was tragically turned upside down when Steven mysteriously disappeared. Inspector Jane Patterson led the investigation to solve the mystery, but her enquiries drew a blank and the case was relegated to the cold-case file. Sarah was unaware that her husband’s demise was all part of somebody’s master plan. It was the striking resemblance she had to an etching of an 8th century pagan saint that inspired the exploitation of her vulnerability. Unaware of the danger she was in her life and destiny was taken over by evil. The plan would culminate in her being an unwilling participant at a pagan celebration dubbed The Main Event. Her disappearance sparked off a nationwide investigation and when this came to the attention of Inspector Patterson she recalled Mr Cooper’s unsolved case. The young detective didn’t believe in coincidences. She began a dogged search to find Mrs Cooper. The nationwide hunt uncovers some gruesome discoveries. Patterson’s team were getting close but time was running out and a desperate race was on to save Mrs Cooper from the clutches of evil.
