Outlining a process approach, this book offers a theoretical and pedagogical framework for how to teach user experience (UX) from a technical and professional communication (TPC) perspective. Recognizing that pedagogy is local to an institution, context, and community, the collection includes teaching cases and stories that demonstrate how instructors in TPC uniquely approach the complexity of teaching UX. This book introduces a six-stage process (empathize, define, design, evaluate, iterate, and implement) that instructors can adapt to their own classrooms.
