At times self-labeled “Jose Antonians,” the book’s protagonists evoked the memory and ideology of José Antonio Primo de Rivera. Second, the book explores how, by prompting political violence and jeopardizing democratization processes, these neo-fascist ideologues impacted their respective societies.
