This book is concerned with the craft of fault-finding, measurement and testing in modern electronic systems and devices, which are primarily digital. The typical 'IBM-compatible' personal computer (PC) can serve as an example of these devices. The knowledge and technical skills needed to put such equipment into service, and to maintain it in good working order, go beyond the level of simple self-help tips and basic measurements.
