The World-Wide Web has revolutionized educational institutions. Control education is an area that has been enhanced through web developments; an initiative to experiment and incorporate web-based technologies led to the birth of Web-Based Simulation (WBS). Control education is typically a domain where Web-based simulation successfully shows its potential of how current technology can support the sharing of information amongst large dispersed groups. This title is based around the proceedings of an IFAC meeting specifically devoted to Internet based control education.
