The Journal of Tissue Culture Methods , published quarterly under the auspices of the Society of In Vitro Biology (formerly the Tissue Culture Association), contains papers describing techniques developed during studies with celltissue, or organ culture from multicellular animals (vertebrate or invertebrate) or plants. In addition to papers describing methods for culturing cells, tissues, organs or tumors, contributions concerned with ancillary techniques are considered, for example, design or construction of culture related equipment, preparation and formulation of culture media, collection and interpretation of data, and quality control procedures for the culture laboratory.
